Recently, Shruti Haasan talked candidly about her road to recovery and her reasons for giving up alcohol. In an interview with Untriggered, Aminjaz disclosed that while she has never used drugs, she had always desired to use alcohol. She stated that she had not drank for eight years. Regarding alcohol, Shruti Haasan
“I’ve been sober for eight years now,” Shruti declared. So, when you’re not drinking, it might be difficult to put up with folks at parties. “Being clean has been the best thing for me; I have no regrets and no hangovers. It’s okay if you want to continue doing it for the rest of your life; it may just be a phase, she said.
Shruti Haasan: I never had a drug problem
Shruti went on to say that she had never used drugs and added, “Alcohol played a significant role in my life, but I was never into drugs.” [After a while] It just ceased to positively assist me at all. I always wanted to go out and drink with my buddies since I was [always] hungover. I thus thought I had more control over it.” The actor revealed that she cut ties with those who incessantly encouraged her to go out, which made her drinking issues worse. “This, too, is part of being sober,” she said.
Shruti made appearances in two Telugu blockbusters earlier this year. She starred with Nadamuri Balakrishna in Veera Simha Reddy and with Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja in Waltair Veerayya.
Future Motion Pictures
Salaar Part 1, Shruti’s major release, is just a few days away. Prabhas plays the main part in Prashant Neel’s Salaar. The movie also stars Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and Easwari Rao. Supported by Vijay Kiragandur, the movie will be available in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu.
Additionally, Shruti will make her cinematic debut alongside actor Adivi Sesh in a future pan-Indian production. Although the film’s title is yet unknown, it will be Adivi’s second Hindi production following the success of Major in 2022. Additionally, Shruti is working on an international initiative called The Eye.
