This Week, Julia Stiles Recaps Two Iconic Film Roles

Julia Stiles has a sentimental mood!

During appearances this week, the 42-year-old actress made references to not one, but two of her most well-known performances.

Julia reviewed the famous text she recites in her 1999 hit song 10 Things I Hate About You on stage at the Mash-Up Americans Book Festival in New York City on Wednesday, December 6.

As she repeated the last words, “But mostly, I hate the way I don’t hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all,” she became noticeably distraught. Her bond with the late Heath Leger’s character was the subject of the poem in the film.

But that was only a warm-up for Julia, who used her Saturday Night Live cameo to get into character for another part.
Julia shocked the crowd this week on Saturday Night Live by doing her last dance from the 2001 film Save the Last Dance with Chloe Fineman.
In the sketch, Chloe revealed Julia’s all-black movie dress and proceeded to explain that her dancing was the best Christmas present you could offer a partner. She even tore off a Santa costume.
Julia jumped on stage to confirm that her character had made it into Julliard on her second audition after outlining the movie’s narrative. She then proceeded with Chloe to execute the last steps of the dance. Julia talked candidly about her connection with Heath a few years ago.
