As she moves on and maintains her optimistic attitude, the actress states that she thinks her “greatest memory is yet to come.”
According to Shannen Doherty, her stage 4 breast cancer has progressed to her bones.
In an interview with People magazine that was posted online on Wednesday, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star talked candidly about her ongoing health struggle and her desire to keep moving forward despite her treatment.
“I have more life left in me. I have love left in me. I have more to create. Hopefully, I’m not done trying to improve things,” Doherty remarked. “I’m simply not— I’m not finished.”
The 52-year-old Charmed actress has been candid about her medical journey since February 2020, when she announced that her breast cancer had returned at stage 4 after being in remission for years.
Doherty revealed on Instagram earlier this year that a CT scan revealed her illness had progressed from her chest to her brain.
Doherty says she is thankful for every day and thinks her “greatest memory is yet to come,” even if she aspires to enroll in clinical trials when new cancer therapies and diagnosis are produced.
